Please read the following information carefully and follow the steps presented. Northern Trust Company is acting as our settlement bank for the deposit program; therefore, some of the documents will be processed through their system as well.

In each step, you will learn about the actions required to proceed. Collect all the files and send them to us by replying to our official onboarding email.

PART 1: Collect and Fill the documents for Northern Trust - our official custodian

As a depositor into our program, Northern Trust requires for their background check the documentation listed below and requirements on the bank. Collect the evidence of existence of the client legal entity, a valid tax withholding certificate and also download and fill the certification regarding beneficial owners of legal entity customers.


Evidence of existence of the client legal entity

One of the following four options:

Articles of Incorporation,             

Certificate of Incorporating

Certificate of Formation, Partnership Agreement, LLC Agreement

Evidence of Good Standing from Secretary of State

ACTION REQUIRED:

Collect file and attach on your onboarding email

Certification regarding beneficial owners of legal entity customers

Regulation requires financial institutions to obtain, verify, record beneficial owners’ information to fight financial crime.

ACTION REQUIRED:

Download, fill and attach on your onboarding email

Valid Tax withholding certificate

Current W-9 2021 or 2022 

(W-8  for Non-U.S. clients)

ACTION REQUIRED:

Collect file and attach on your onboarding email

PART 2: Fill our online form, download and sign Impact Deposits' agreements

Impact Deposits created the first cash-deposit network 20 years ago. Using interest-bearing, money-market products, through a single account, all types of depositors can now preserve liquidity, and realize full FDIC insurance protection for deposits over $250,000.

The agreement enables a customer to invest funds in deposit accounts via the Program.

PART 3: Send us an email with all the files
